WILL WATERMAN, 30’s, Caucasian. An art history professor who still feels like a fat kid with a genius artist father. He’s awkward, lovable, and understandably neurotic.

TORY, 40’s, Caucasian. Ninth wife of the great Jule Waterman. A trophy workout queen with a heart of something shiny but not gold. She’s a tenacious beauty with strong desires and a pushy smile.

ANA, late 20’s to mid 30’s, of Mexican descent. Married to Will, she’s a warm, sunny fireball fixated on having a baby.

RAY, 30’s or 40’s, person of color. Ray is a dialysis nurse and a lifelong New Yorker; he’s seen it all. He has a big presence with a big voice. He is very kind but also is not a pushover.

JULE WATERMAN, an older, white guy, who must play in his 70s or 80s. In failing health, he is regarded as one of the greatest sculptors of all time. Jule acts and feels like a god/king, and no one tells him differently.
