SALT LAKE CITY — Pioneer Theatre Company is holding auditions for its production of Elf the Musical. Equity actors are invited to submit audition materials online; non-equity actors may attend in person on Friday, August 20.

The movie became an instant cult classic, and the musical adaption took Broadway and Utah by storm! Buddy discovers that he’s not really an elf—the fact that he’s 6’2” and towers over the other elves in Santa’s Workshop should have tipped him off – and travels to New York to find his real father. He finds, and spreads, love, helping others rediscover the joy of Christmas along the way.
The production is directed by Alan Muraoka and choreographed by Rommy Sandhu. Tom Griffin is Musical Director.
Rehearsal runs November 8, 2021 until December 2, 2021. The performance dates are December 3 through December 18, 2021.
A headshot and resume are recommended. Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to audition.
