Brent was born in Thunder Bay, Canada—a winter sports town. He loves to travel and, having been to more than 275 cities in over 30 countries, is excited to be in Salt Lake City for the very first time. The work of Stephen Sondheim has had an indescribable impact on Brent’s life and he is honored to make his PTC debut with Putting It Together. In recognition of this production and Mr. Sondheim’s legacy, Mr. Thiessen has made a donation to the Jonathan Larson Grants, which aim to support and cultivate the work of new musical theatre composers, lyricists, and librettists.
