Joe Gallina is thrilled to make his PTC debut as your Audrey II Puppeteer! He has previously performed Audrey II at The Denver Center for the Performing Arts and South Coast Repertory Theater (Orange Coast Review Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor with Michael Shepperd). Gallina also performed with James Ortiz as Rocky voice/lead puppeteer in Project Hail Mary and in the NYC Premiere of El Gato Con Botas (Gotham Chamber Opera, director Moisés Kaufman). He went to Haiti with Clowns Without Borders in the wake of the 2010 earthquake, successfully spreading laughter amidst disaster in the streets of Port-Au-Prince. Most recently, he not only directed the puppetry for Disney’s Frozen at PCPA, but performed a two-person Sven from The Puppet Kitchen with Dahlia Ridenhaur. In addition, Gallina has worked as an actor from coast to coast: PS-122 in NYC, the Geva Theater, Connecticut Rep, Hope Summer Rep, Artist’s Rep, Utah Shakes, and Pacific Conservatory Theater. He is a graduate of PCPA’s Acting Conservatory (’03) and holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Connecticut (’08). Thanks Mama and Papa for everything!
