AardemaEPHIE AARDEMA* (Lamplighter/Ghost of Christmas Past/Ensemble) is happy to return to PTC after playing Natalie in Next to Normal last season. She originated the role of Lucy Honeychurch in the new musical A Room with a View at the Old Globe. Off-Broadway:Dear Edwina (Edwina). National Tours: The Sound of Music (Liesl) and Fiddler on the Roof (Chava). BagleyAANSON BAGLEY (Tiny Tim) is really excited to be in his first play at Pioneer Theatre Company.  He loves his hip-hop dance class and loves to sing. Theater roles he has enjoyed are Chip in Beauty and the Beastand Winthrop in The Music Man. You may recognize him from the film 17 Miracles and several local TV and radio commercials.
JaronBarneyJARON BARNEY (Charity Man/Young Marley/Ensemble) is a junior in the Musical Theater Program at the University of Utah, where he was most recently seen as Mr. Black in Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party. Other credits include Songs for a New World,Hair and Rare Bird with the University of Utah. Jaron is a proud recipient of the University of Utah Musical Theater Scholarship.
BessGINGER BESS* (Blind Old Hag/Ensemble) has performed in theatres from coast to coast. She was recently seen as Roxie Hart in the sold-out production of Chicago with The Dark Horse Company Theatre. She was featured in Rent, Sunset Boulevard and Les Misérables at Pioneer Theatre Company and received national recognition as the mezzo-soprano soloist in Berstein’s Mass with Utah Symphony. Favorites include Lucy (Jekyll and Hyde), Mary Magdalene (Jesus Christ Superstar), Mrs. Walker (The Who’sTommy), Susan (Tick Tick…Boom!), Betty Haynes (White Christmas), Yonah (Children of Eden), Aldonza (Man of La Mancha) and Sally Bowles (Cabaret). Ginger is a voice teacher at Weber State University, and tours with her jazz cabaret show. She wants to thank Karen for allowing her to play on one of her favorite stages again. CarlsonAGASHLEY GARDNER CARLSON (Sally/Ensemble) is thrilled to be back on the PTC stage after appearing inAnnie last Christmas. Most recently, Ashley was seen at the Grand Theatre as Cinderella in Into The Woodsand as Kira in Xanadu. This summer, she also made an appearance with the Utah Symphony in the Jewish American Songbook Concert. Ashley earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah in Communications and an MBA from Westminster College.
DanielLENNY DANIEL* (Charity Man/Ensemble/Asst. Director-Choreographer) Mr. Daniel has assisted Mrs. Azenberg, on such great shows as Peter Pan(Alabama Shakespeare), Brigadoon, Carousel (Troika & NYU), West Side Story (Virginia Opera) and The Hunchback of Notre Dame (NYC workshop). He directed and choreographed Mid-Life! the Crisis Musical at TexArts Theater, assistant directed The Wizard of Oz national tour starring Mickey Rooney and Eartha Kitt, and assistant choreographed GiGi(Papermill Playhouse). Mr. Daniel happily assisted Ann Reinking and performed in Here Lies Jenny starring Bebe Neuwirth (NYC & SF). Performing credits include: Broadway: Cats–Final Company, The Wizard of Oz. EarleyKEVIN EARLEY* (Bob Cratchit/Ensemble) Recent Drama Desk Nominee for the title role in Death Takes a Holiday at Roundabout Theatre Company. Broadway credits: Les Misérables, Thoroughly Modern Millie andA Tale of Two Cities. Kevin is also a 2012 Jeff Award Nominee for The Pirates of Penzance (Pirate King). Other awards: Joseph Jefferson Award (Balladeer inAssassins), LA Drama Critics Circle Award (Rutledge in 1776) and four LA Ovation Award Nominations for leading roles in Can-Can, Sleeping Beauty Wakes, It Came From Beyond and Side Show. Ellis-BillsCECILY ELLIS-BILLS (Scrooge’s Mother/Ensemble)holds a performer’s diploma in musical theater from the AMDA New York, as well as a BM and MM in Vocal Performance from the University of Utah. She has worked in regional theater across the United States. Her favorite roles include Johanna in Sweeney Todd,Cunegonde in Candide and Magnolia in Show Boat. Cecily is currently on voice faculty for the U’s Musical Theater program.
HallLAURA HALL* (Emily/Ensemble) Laura made her Broadway debut last year in Frank Wildhorn’sWonderland. Regionally, she’s been seen in The Marvelous Wonderettes at the Gem Theatre in Detroit,Urban Cowboy at Gateway Playhouse, Junie B. Joneswith Theatreworks USA, Jack and the Soy Beanstalkat The New York International Fringe Festival, and performances with the Cincinnati Pops. Laura also tours with the musical theatre sketch comedy group The Water Coolers. BFA from The College Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati. When she’s not onstage, you can find Laura playing somewhere in the outdoors, probably climbing. HickenALEXANDRA HICKEN (Ensemble) is thrilled for her debut performance at PTC! She is a junior in the Musical Theatre Program at the University of Utah. HolmesDGDAVID GUY HOLMES (Ensemble) Returns to PTC after appearing in In the Heights. David has done several shows this past year including: Xanadu(Sonny), Joseph… (Levi) and Hairspray (Corny Collins). He has also performed at the Jackson Hole Playhouse in Grease (Kenickie), Egyptian Theatre inThe Who’s Tommy (Ensemble Soloist/Dance Captain) and Hair (Choreographer/Woof). David is a certified Anti-Gravity Yoga Instructor and Alignment Therapist.
JustinIvieJUSTIN IVIE* (Old Joe/Marley) is thrilled to be a part of A Christmas Carol: The Musical, his 28th appearance at Pioneer Theatre Company. Previous favorites include The Producers, Paint Your Wagon,Les Misérables, Othello, Julius Caesar, Cyrano de Bergerac, 1776 and Into the Woods. Utah audiences have also seen him in Amadeus at the Old Lyric, White Christmas at the Egyptian and in Kiss Me, Kate at UMT, among many others. While attending Weber State, Justin played Sweeney in Sweeney Todd and Roger Marshall in the world premiere of The Pirated Penzance. He received his MFA from Northern Illinois University where he appeared in Three Sisters,Measure for Measure, Baby and the English language premiere of the nine-hour epic The Terrible but Unfinished Story of Norodom Sihanouk, King of Cambodia.
JacksonJJAMIE JACKSON* (Ebenezer Scrooge) Jamie is excited to be working at PTC in this Dickens classic. SONY DSCCHRISTIAN LABERTEW (Jonathan/Ensemble) Christian’s stage career has included acts at The Egyptian Theater [13 The Musical (Brett), Guys and Dolls (Nicely-Nicely Johnson), A Christmas Carol(young Scrooge, turkey boy), Aladdin Jr. (Iago), Annie Jr. (Sandy), and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown(Linus)]; Kingsbury Hall [National Tour of Wizard of Oz(Lollipop Guild)]; and The Grand Theatre [Oliver!(Charley Bates)], as well as numerous school productions. Christian also starred in the recent national release of a PSA for Family Promise, a non-profit homeless organization. He loves the performing arts and hopes to continue to work and study both film and theater.
MayfieldNOAH MAYFIELD (Ensemble) Seven-year-old Noah is in second grade at Peruvian Park Elementary School and returns to the Dickens story after he played Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol at Hale Centre Theatre. He has also worked with the SLC Children’s theatre and performed in dance concerts at Kingsbury Hall. Last year, Noah performed in Shelter, a New York Musical Theatre Festival production, in New York City.

While earning his B.A. in Musical Theater from WSU, Daniel performed with the cast of the Kennedy Center ACTF production of The Serpent in Washington, D.C. He just returned from New York City after working with Open Jar Productions over the summer with Jeff Whiting and James Gray.
TerranEMILY TERRAN (Fan/Ensemble) Emily is very excited to make her debut at the Pioneer Theater as Martha and Fan in A Christmas Carol: The Musical and to be working with such a talented cast and crew.
