Artistic Staff Bios

ALEX LEWIN’s (Playwright) plays have been presented and developed at the O’Neill Playwrights Conference, the La Jolla Playhouse, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Chautauqua Theater Company, Geva Theatre Center, MCC, The New Group, Ensemble Studio Theatre, the Alliance Theatre, Arena Stage, the New Harmony Project, P73, The Playwrights Realm, the ABSOLUT Gay Theatre Festival (Dublin) and Chalk Rep. (Los Angeles), among others. He was a 2009-10 Playwrights Realm Fellow; a 2012-13 Jerome Fellow; a member of the 2014-15 Writers’ Workshop at Center Theatre Group (Los Angeles); and for four years he was an artistic associate at New York Theatre Workshop. Lewin has been a finalist for the Weissberger Award, the Kendeda Prize and the Heideman Award, among others, and was a 2014 resident at Yaddo artists’ colony. Commissions: La Jolla Playhouse, Ensemble Studio Theatre/Sloan Foundation and KBEM/Jazz 88 (St. Paul, MN).

MARY P. COSTELLO* (Stage Manager) has worked on over 40 productions during seven seasons with PTC. Favorites include Sting’s The Last Ship, The Will Rogers Follies, Les Misèrables, In the Heights, Next to Normal and Rent.  Other stage management teams: Indiana Repertory Theatre, Connecticut Repertory Theatre, Boston Theatre Works, Grand Valley Shakespeare Festival and the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
