ERICA CARVALHO (Bridget Donnely) Received her BFA at the University of Utah’s Actor Training Program. She is honored to return to her friends at PTC after performing as Edna in the mainstage production of An Inspector Calls, Emilia in the Play-by-Play reading of March Tale, Piper Bell in the recent reading of macbitches, and after working in administration for nearly three years. Thanks to everyone who made tonight possible.

DEE-DEE DARBY-DUFFIN* (Phoebe Fernandes Lewis) last seen in PTC’s Play-by-Play reading of The Way North, Dee-Dee is happy to be back. Past acting credits include Passing Strange, Mercury, The Overwhelming Caroline or Change, Doubt, [title of show], Mama, Nothing Personal, The Third Crossing, Slam 2012, Crowns, 1940’s Radio Hour, You Can’t Take It With You, Women of Lockerbie, Lady Day at Emerson Bar and Grill, Well, Holiday Time with The Odette’s, Fences, Vagina Monologues, For Colored Girls who Have Committed Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf, The Exonerated, Hairspray, Civil War, Annie, Big River. Directing credits include Surely Goodness and Mercy, and A Sea Inside of Me, The Life of Jason Smith. Dee-Dee is also an accomplished jazz vocalist and playwright.

CONNOR NELIS JOHNSON (Mathius Frackenhinger) Connor is super excited to join Pioneer Theatre Company for another reading. He graduated from the University of Utah Acting Program in 2021 and spent his first year of freedom moving around the country in touring Shakespeare companies. He is moving to Brooklyn this summer to really give this thing a go. Much love to the parents.

VINCE McGILL* (Marion Lewis) is excited to be a part of Play-by-Play 2022. Previous appearances at Pioneer Theatre Company are Ray in the World Premiere of Ass by Ellen Simon and Brucie in the Pulitzer Prize winning Sweat by Lynn Nottage.

JUSTIN WEAKS* (Jonas Van Cleef) makes his Pioneer Theatre Company debut with The People Before the Park. He was last seen in the World Premiere of Paola Lázaro’s There’s Always the Hudson at Woolly Mammoth Theater Company in Washington, D.C., where he is a member of their company of artists. New York: The New Group NYC. Regional credits include work with The Kennedy Center, Ford’s Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Round House Theatre, Theater J, Shakespeare & Company, and Theater Alliance.
