As this posts, I will be wending my way south to Cedar City for the weekend.

It’s always fun to see what my colleagues at Utah Shakespeare Festival are up to. Plus, there are several PTC alums represented there on stage and off, so it should be a fun trip.

Here in our building, we’re getting close to the start of next season. Our department heads are here all summer, going to production meetings, purchasing supplies, and doing general maintenance and upkeep. The remainder of the production staff will return in the next two weeks—carpenters and stage management first, followed by the costume shop and props. The designs for Oslo are in and our staff will have to hit the ground running.

I won’t miss the quiet. I love it when this building is full. Though I can’t believe the summer is almost over!
